NACAA Special Recognition Awards

 

The NACAA Advocate of the Year Award
 

The annual Advocate of the Year Award is given to an individual who has exemplified true advocacy to consumer rights. Candidates for this award demonstrate the best in enhancing and promoting consumer interests and fairness in the marketplace.

Who is eligible for nomination?

  • Representatives from government, non-profits or educational institutions
  • Representatives from the public or private sector
  • Self-nomination

Although the recipient of the award does not have to be a NACAA member, only NACAA members or corporate partners may nominate an individual for this award.

 

The NACAA Agency of the Year Award
 

This annual award recognizes outstanding performance of a NACAA member agency, either through long-term efforts or by virtue of a significant program or other success. Other criteria include a successful and beneficial enforcement action or an outstanding education or outreach program.

Who is eligible for nomination?
All NACAA full member agencies are eligible for this award, including self-nomination.

 

The NACAA Website of the Year Award
 

This award honors the consumer agency that has been the most effective in creating and/or upgrading their website during the past calendar year.

Who is eligible for nomination?
Government agencies, non-profits or educational institutions, including self-nomination.

 

The NACAA Military Honors of the Year Award
 

The Military Honors Award is presented to a military financial readiness and consumer assistance office demonstrating outstanding leadership and assistance to members of the military and their families.

Who is eligible for nomination?
Military financial readiness and consumer assistance offices and staff, including self-nomination

When and where will the awards be given?
The Annual Awards Luncheon will be held on Monday, June 2, 2008, at NACAA's 33rd Annual Meeting in Dallas, Texas.
